A small amount of my MAC lipstick limited edition collection
Hey all! So sorry to have vanished for a bit. Just got back in Minnesota and I'm so ready and excited to start vlogging/blogging again!
The lighting in my room is so amazing between 8am-10am so I had to throw an impromptu photoshoot. Product photography is something I really love doing.
These are lipsticks from the following MAC collections; Aquatic, RiRi Loves Mac, Toledo, RiRi Viva La Glam, and Temperature Rising
Finding new and fun ways to display a product, while getting in some photography practice, is always fun!
Also, please don't take this post as bragging, I am merely sharing some of my favorite packaged lipsticks. It takes a while to build a collection that you can really be proud of and one should feel excited to share it visually!
I hope you had a beautiful Sunday, and are ready to venture into another weekday with confidence. I will be posting lost of fun products and videos very soon.
It's such a blast to be a content creator for the beauty community! You all will be seeing a lot of me soon!
So lets just state the obvious, the multi color packaging and the product itself is absolutely beautiful. From the new Wash & Dry collection by Mac, the HighLight in Freshen Up was the main thing to catch my eye. I've definitely gone high lighter crazy as this is the 5th highlighter I've bought this year; but passing on this beauty was not an option.
The packaging is very sleek, a gorgeous teal to burnt orange to lemon yellow highlight. The product itself also an ombre of burnt orange to peach to banana with a shimmery overspray. The HighLight is a standard Mac size of 1ml and the cost $35.50 is bit more expensive than Mac usually charges for a highlight.
What I love about the product is that the colors blend beautifully on the cheek and it makes for a very warm peachy blush. You do have to build the product to your desired opacity and for my golden brown complexion it does take a couple swipes in the pan to get the desired affect. On the website Mac states that the look the product provides is well polished with a sheer veil of color that blends effortlessly. The product does look polished once applied and does blend well.
What I don't like about this product is that it isn't a highlight. I'll never understand the thinking behind an overspray in a product. For me either it should shimmer or it should be matte and that's it, its pointless for the two to be combined or layered. Its down right annoying honestly. This product is really just an over priced sheer blush in pretty packaging, which isn't exactly a bad thing. Except that the potential of the product being a gorgeous shimmering three toned ombre highlight would have been pretty awesome. Instead, you get to momentarily enjoy the beautiful overspray and watch it disappear with each brush stroke into a matte DUSTY powder. Which brings along the second thing I don't like about his product, its too powdery. Once you get past the overspray its not a buttery smooth powder but a loose powder almost. It does look pretty on the skin but for what Mac is charging they could have given it a similar formula to their Extra Dimension Skin Finishes.
Product Swatch of Mac HighLight in Freshen Up, First three swatches of each individual color in pan, final swatch is of all colors swatched together.
My final take on the product is if you're a collector or a highlight junkie this is a beautiful product to own and to add to your collection. If you're looking for a peach highlight to become your summer staple I would say there are a lot of less expensive amazing quality products out there for you.
Also, because this is limited edition and has special packaging its currently sold out on the Mac and Macy website and is going to be a little difficult to come across online. So if you're looking to grab one or two try your local Mac free standing store or Macy's.
Did you get to grab anything from the Wash and Dry collection? Looking forward to any new collections? Let me know in the comments below.
What better way to start off your new year than getting all dolled up? Hey guise its Makeup Tutorial Friday's and I'm bringing you my new years look. It feels like me sticking to my resolutions are off to a good start (#1 post regular content), which is more than exciting for me. This look was inspired by my love for two gorgeous products that I knew would mesh heavenly together: Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow in Kitten (Sephora, Ulta) and the Riri Loves MAC Pro Longwear Lip Liner in Talk That Talk (limited edition, but a warm dark purple will do).
The warm champagne color of Kitten and the deep berry shade of Talk That Talk pair beautifully, and were the instant focus of the look. I hope you enjoy and please try.
The products used in this tutorial are posted below. Links for each product will be provided soon. If a product is a sold out limited edition I will search for a possible dupe and provide that product and the link to that product:

I am pretty mixed regarding the MAC Baking Beauties Collection.
There are many things I love and many things that
could DEFINITELY improve. MAC is capable of producing some pretty
impressive products; at the same time they are guilty of the exact opposite.
From the collection I purchased:
Pure Decoration Lipstick
Raspberry Swirl Lipstick
Lavender Whip Lipstick
Devil’s Food Lipstick
Mooncake Pro Longwear Paint Pot
Éclair Pro Longwear Paint Pot
Reflects Transparent Teal Glitter
I am very happy with the paint pots and the teal glitter, not so
much with the lipsticks. I’ve reviewed each product individually so if you
click the product above, it will take you to the review. If you have full lips
and want to remotely even make any of the lipsticks work I advise you to lip
line your lips so it’s less likely that the product will settle into lip lines.
Did you get a chance to purchase any items from this collection? How are
products working for you? How did you feel about this collection?

MAC's collections can be so fun and this one by far was very fun. Besides the lovely packing and the scattered hearts all over the products, I did manage to come across a few favorites. Please click the links to checkout of review of the pictured products!

I've complete my second tutorial! So excited and it was a total blast to shoot. I decided to do a smoky teal eye because I've always loved the teal color but never knew how exactly to wear it. Like usual I just started grabbing my brushes and tools and figured out this easy beautiful look.
This look is very alluring and very girly. I decided to pair the lip with a pale pinkish brown lip and soft rose coral cheek. Its a fierce eye with surrounding soft features. In this tutorial I decided to try some speed up and slow down effects in certain areas so please let me know what you think worked and what you think didn't. I appreciate your views and your opinons. Listed below are all the products I used to achieve the look.

Lee Hi- I Am Weird
Lee Hi- Fool

This shade is too fun and sassy. I'd rock this shade behind a huge pair of black sunglasses, candy cigarette in hand. You get the picture. Its sexy and fun, a gorgeous pop of color for all skin tones. Every girl should have a fun shade of lipstick in her arsenal.
Swatch of Daddy's Little Girl
Daddy's Little girl is described as a mid tone pink violet with a satin finish. It;s pigmented and applies true to the swatch I took. I give this lipstick an A for go out and buy.
This lipstick is on sale for $16.50 and will be available again at maccosmetics.com. Will you add this to your collection?
Impressive, high impact, yet simple. Oh, Oh, Oh is described as a sheer brown plum lipstick with a lustre finish. I would consider this another "come hither shade" its the perfect shade for a sexy classy look. I really like the lipstick, but my only con is that the lipstick felt a tad bit dry going on. So make sure your looks are fully hydrated before applying.
I loved the lipstick on my lips and though its not my favorite from the Archie collection, im glad to have it in my collection.
I'd give this lipstick an A-. Love the coverage and color but the application shouldn't be so rough initially.
This lipstick is on sale for $16.50 and will be available again at maccosmetics.com. What do you think?
This shade and I will be attached at the hip
probably all summer.
Close up of Betty Bright
Swatch of Betty Bright
Betty Bright is described as a light vibrant
peach, on my skin tone it comes off as a light peachy pink, and has a satin finish. It’s definitely a
necessity for the sweet otaku vixens. I’m a sweet vixen, so yes they do exist. This is a lipstick that with the right eye makeup, would work for every girl.
I found the lipstick went on smoothly and was very pigmented.
Though the lipstick does go into fine lines, just make sure your smoochers are
smooth and hydrated before applying. All in all I really love this lip color
and this lip forumla. It makes my lips appear more plump and I truly love that
in a lipstick. I give this lipstick a B+.
This
lipstick is on sale for $16.50 and will be available again at maccosmetics.com.
I'm curious to see what this shade looks like on you guise.
